There are three types of welding platforms: flat welding platforms, T-slot welding platforms, and porous flexible welding platforms.
The quality of the welding platform has an important relationship with its structural design.
1.Flat welding table: Made of HT200 cast iron material, the working surface has been removed from the knife pattern or manually scraped and ground, and the working surface is flat. It is suitable for welding simple workpieces that do not require clamping. It is not suitable for complex parts.
2.T-slot welding table: It is cast from HT200 material. The working surface is de-grained or manually scraped. The working surface is processed with T-slot according to the usage requirements. It is suitable for welding simple workpieces that need to be assembled, but you need to make the tooling yourself. If it is a small batch of diverse welding parts, you need to make different tooling.
3.Modular flexible welding table: It is cast from HT300 material or nitrided from Q345 Q355 steel parts. It is CNC machined on five sides and has D28 holes on all five sides. The hole spacing is 100*100mm or 50*50mm. This kind of Plasma Nitrided Table needs to be used with a fixture and is suitable for various welding parts. When welding different workpieces, you only need to change the fixture.

1. Different positioning accuracy
Welding tooling requires comprehensive consideration of the accuracy of the processing equipment, the processing sequence, the operating guidelines of the on-site operator, and the accuracy variables of semi-finished products when designing the entire tooling.
Due to the high manufacturing precision of the three-dimensional flexible welding fixture tooling, the positioning error between holes is within 0.1mm.
2. Different customer groups
3D hot rolled mild steel plate welding tables are mainly used in units that produce small batches, multiple varieties, and high-precision welding processing. It is a universal welding tool consisting of standardized modules.
3D flexible welding fixtures are widely used in welding and inspection systems such as steel structures, various vehicle body manufacturing, rail transit welding, bicycle and motorcycle manufacturing, etc.
Traditional welding tooling is generally special tooling, which is especially suitable for the production of large-volume welding products.
3. Different economic values
Traditional welding fixtures are generally manufactured specifically for one workpiece or one welding process, and new investments are required each time a new product is developed; while the first investment for three-dimensional flexible welding fixtures is slightly larger, but there is no need to invest again when developing new products.
4. Different preparation times
Traditional welding tools can take weeks or even months.
The 3D flexible welding fixture adopts modular installation, and it usually only takes a few minutes or hours from product drawings to tooling completion.
