What is a welding positioner ?

Welding positioner is a general and efficient welding equipment mainly used to realize circular seam welding of circular workpieces such as pipes and tanks.

The welding positioner can be equipped with welding power sources such as argon arc welding machine (wire filling or not), CO2/MAG/MIG welding machine, plasma welding machine, etc., and form an automatic welding system with them.

The welding positioner is mainly composed of a rotating head, a positioner and a controller.
The rotating speed of the rotary head is adjustable, with an independent speed control circuit, and the DIP switch can directly preset the length of the weld.

1. When installing and disassembling the workpiece, check whether the round platen has been taken out and whether the platen has been retracted in place to prevent the workpiece from damaging the fixture.
2. When hoisting the workpiece, it must be stable and level, without a large swing, to prevent the workpiece from colliding with the fixture, so as not to damage the fixture.
3. When lifting the workpiece, the sling must be securely installed before taking the sling away from the workpiece.
4. When disassembling the workpiece, the workpiece must be hoisted firmly with a sling before the workpiece can be released.
5. When the workpiece falls on the fixture of the welding rotary turntable, it should be handled gently, and there should be no excessive impact on the fixture and the positioner.
