With the development of the steel structure market, box columns (BOX) are used more and more in bridges, power stations, boilers, high-rise buildings and other fields.

Box-column slag welding machine is a special equipment for box-column baffle welding.
It adopts baffles and surrounding steel plates to braze by vertical slag welding.
Depending on the customer's requirements, there are two types of welding for electroslag welding of box beam baffles: CONSUMABLE NOZZLE type and WIRE ELECTRODE type ESW.

Box beam automatic welding electroslag welding machine structure:

1.There are two models of this machine, gantry type electroslag welder and single cantilever type Box beam electroslag welder, but the frame structure is almost the same. It is mainly composed of a mobile trolley, a column, a lifting device, a lifting slider, a cross arm and a tool rack.
2.The mobile trolley consists of a base, four moving wheels, two drive shafts, and two motors. Four moving wheels run through gears with two motors. This four-wheel-drive system keeps the machine running smoothly.
3.The column is a welded rectangular tube structure. There are guide rails on both sides on which the cross arm can move up and down.
4.The lifting device is fixed on the column. It consists of motor reducer, shaft group, lead screw and lead screw. The screw rod is connected with the lifting slider, which can drive the lifting slider and the cross arm to move up and down.
5.The tool holder of CONSUMABLE NOZZLE electroslag welding machine is connected with the cross arm through four guide wheels. It can fix the feeding device of the nozzle melt (or wire melt) electroslag welding machine.
