Product Introduction

Big gantry cnc plasma oxy fuel cutting machine is an efficient and high-precision automated metal cutting equipment, widely used in shipbuilding, machinery manufacturing, steel structure processing and other fields.
The double-sided drive makes it run more stable. The cutting thickness can be determined according to the plasma cutting power source you choose, while the flame cutting thickness can reach 200mm. The guide rail length and lateral span of the machine can be customized according to the length of your steel plate.

Features

1. Gantry structure

The horizontal span is generally 2-10 meters (customizable and lengthened), and the longitudinal track length is standardly 6 meters (customizable and lengthened).

The crossbeam mostly adopts box welding or square tube butt welding structure, and reduces deformation through vibration aging treatment to improve rigidity and precision.

2. Drive and transmission system

Transmission mode: precision gear rack (7-level accuracy) with imported linear guide or special steel rail to ensure smooth operation.

Key Configurations

Drive type: bilateral servo drive, some models can choose stepper motor, operating speed range 0-6000mm/min.
Cutting system
Plasma cutting:

based on plasma arc to melt metal, combined with high-speed airflow to blow away slag, suitable for stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel and other materials, cutting thickness is determined by power supply power (usually 1-70mm).
Flame cutting:

Oxygen + fuel gas (acetylene/propane), suitable for carbon steel (thickness 5-300mm), but thin plates are easy to deform.

How to choose suitable CNC Plasma and Flame Cutting machine?

1. Clearly define the type of cutting material

Metal type: The cutting effects of conductive metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper are different. You need to confirm the plasma power supply, 100A, 120A, 200A, 300A, 400A or other models.

2. Material thickness

Usually plasma cutting is suitable for 3-30mm plates (Chinese brands or Haibao plasma power supplies), and ultra-thick materials require high-power models (such as 160A or above).

3. Cutting accuracy and speed

Accuracy requirements: Precision machining requires a high-end model with a repeat positioning accuracy of ≤±0.1mm, and general industrial use is ±0.3mm.

4. Cutting speed

The cutting speed of thin plates can reach 5-10m/min, and the thick plate will be reduced to 1-3m/min. It needs to be selected according to production efficiency requirements.
