What is a cast iron fixture table with nitrided? Why need nitrided on welding table?
Cast iron fixture table with nitrided is a 3D 2D workbench, welding tables. It is made of HT300 gray cast iron and nitrided later. The 3D welding table has 5 working surfaces, and the 2D welding table has one working surface, with 28mm holes (hole distance 100mm) or 16mm holes (hole distance 50mm) evenly distributed on the table.
Nitriding a welding table makes the surface harder, which helps prevent spatter from adhering and reduces corrosion. The thermochemical process makes the surface of the fixture table more wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and durable. Weld spatter adheres to the table to a significantly lower extent after plasma nitriding than to welding tables that have not been plasma nitrided. As a result, the surface flatness is better maintained even after years. Plasma nitriding is always worthwhile due to the significantly increased service life and the welding table's elasticity increased by about 20-30%.
